I have few credentials, beyond being an avid reader, but my primary source of judgment comes from the emotion elicited from page to page. Lee manages to take us on a journey, from naïve hope, to horror, from burgeoning excitement to burning frustration. The emotion simply bleeds from each page. A job well done.
