I formulate the following opinion about this book: This book constitutes a practical guide (step-by-step handbook) for creating interactive video software in Flash format, which incorporates multimedia elements and operates on Windows and Mac as a desktop application or web app. The author

From the Author The main contribution of the book lies in the COVERAGE OF THE GAP between THEORY and PRACTICE, i.e. between the educational theories of 'Instructional Design', of 'eLearning', and of 'Multimedia Teaching', on the one hand and on the other, the educational practice in 'classrooms', in 'computer laboratories', and in 'digital learning environments', during the practical implementation of the educational slogan'Learning by Doing', byeducators, teachers, instructors, and trainers. The book focuses on the case of Interactive Multimedia Video in Flash Format, which is obtained from Screen Recording. However, whenever it is stressed that, this is only one of the possible cases of creation of Video Files: the case associated with the Screen Recording of Excel or/and SPSS. In this case, each Video Clip within the framework of PBL and PBLEs, is a Worked-Out Example of Problem, with the possibility of an easy conversion to PBL Problem. Therefore, the 'platform' proposed by the book (i.e. the Interactive Multimedia Video Application in Flash), also applies to other forms of VideoClips: Video from Video Camera, Video from Simulations, Video from moving or from static images, etc. Finally, relating to this book, it is worth noting:

I really liked the way the book is formatted. The author's instructions are clear and to the point. I appreciated the print screens placed strategically in the book that made it easier for me to understand the tasks the author had outlined. I know that many people don't like to read essays of any kind, but all I can say is that Ralph Waldo Emerson is simply different! Nobody has the gift to write essays and analyze life like him.His words and ideas are so powerful and deep that we soon realize that they didn't come only from a brilliant mind, but also from a warm-hearted soul!That's exactly what this book is about: Its sentences break through your brain and penetrate right into your soul! Emerson's optimistic view on human beings and life can only reinforce our courage in mankind and, especially, in ourselves!What else can I say? Previously Waiting for Revenge By Deborah I love this book, over the years I've read it again and again, you know when sometimes you find a book that's just it, it's one of my go to books if I don't know what I fancy reading then I have my favourites which I turn to.It's the story of a happily married couple Mandy and Mike who go round to a friends one night and she catches him having sex with his friends slutty girlfriend Lana, she's struggling since they have two children Ben and Rachel, can she throw away what's been a happy marriage with a great guy she loves, but can she get over the fact that he's cheated on her and continues to cheat on her, how can she continue to live with someone who would do that to her. On top of this, the day after the cheating she meets Adam a fantastic guy who makes her feel like there could be life after divorce, Adam makes no secret of the fact that he's been watching her run past his house and that he's very interested in her so, should she stay married, confront Mike and get a divorce or get revenge....

By Smitten with Reading My Review:Usually I hate to read books that involve an unhappy marriage, but something about the description of this story drew me in and I am so glad that it did. I really loved this book. Honestly, I did not put it down from the time I started it until I turned the last page. I just couldn't see how this was all going to turn out for everyone especially knowing that Adam was hiding something and not knowing what exactly it was although I had a pretty good idea.This book starts on Thanksgiving day with Mandy out walking. She's just walked in on her husband, Mike, and friend having sex on top of a car in the garage and is completely shocked, completely angry, and at a total loss of how to react now. On her walk, she meets Adam. He's been watching her for a couple of months while she walks and has finally gotten brave enough to introduce himself.The book covers the next month of these people's lives. Mandy quickly decides that her marriage is over, but she's not going to act on that until after Christmas. Mike and Mandy have two kids, ages 10 and 12 and she doesn't want to ruin their holiday with talk of a divorce. In that time, they stay living in the same house and are seeing a marriage counselor (who hits on Mandy when Mike's not around), but she's sleeping in a separate bed. She's also getting MUCH closer to Adam during that time period.Reading this book was a lot like watching a car wreck. Mandy is completely blown away by Mike's betrayal. They've been married for 13 years and have had a good marriage. They even had sex the morning of his betrayal. She waffles between anger and wanting to give merit to those happy 13 years, but how could she ever trust him again. As a married woman, it's hard to watch her with this struggle. As simply a woman, it's even harder to see her even think about giving him a second chance. It's a tough book and very emotional, but it is so good! It's extremely well-written. You can't help but feel for all of these characters....yes, there were even moments when I felt bad for the jerk, Mike. It's a bad situation and the author shows the myriad of emotions that go with that. BUT even more importantly, she never made it a depressing book. You are caught up in the drama of it all, but never once do you feel like Mandy isn't going to overcome it all...you just are never quite sure HOW she's going to do that.It was really really good and I truly loved the way that it ended. This book may not be one that I would normally pick up, but I'm so glad that I did today. This is the kind of book that strikes a deep emotional chord and sticks with me for a few days. I love that kind of book!I received a complimentary copy of this book in return for an honest review.

Terrific practical guide to moral wisdom By Dr Andrew Knock Jay Krunszyinsky has written a passionate book on practical morality, in which he maps out a system to help develop core personal virtues by making acts of atonement whenever we fail other people. He is not concerned to argue the merits of his system against other forms of morality, but aims to convince by the clarity of his system and the wealth of illustrations he provides for different stages of personal development.Jay Krunszyinsky's core approach to moral issues is broadly that described as 'virtue ethics,' that is, consideration of the chief virtues which contribute to a fulfilled and purposed life. He has clearly brought great insight to helping children and adults face profound scarring and damage, and find ways of healing. In the early part of the book he develops a thorough system for schools to use in order to "define behavioral expectations and allow children to evaluate their successes and problems." Teachers and parents will find this a valuable tool to reflect on, either applying it or measuring their own methods alongside it.Building on this foundation of rationality, Jay introduces what his book's title is about - saying Sorry, "making atonement." For Jay atonement is intensely practical: "Through atonement or problem resolution you can take responsibility for hurtful actions and demonstrate acts of love, respect and honesty." Kenneth J. Saltman teaches at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth. What's needed is a paperback version in the $20 to $30 range (list price).And just to be clear, I have not read the book, although I would have at least liked to look at it. No LINK+ library has it for lending, and I can't preview it on Amazon using "Look Inside," so I will probably never read it.

I felt it would be a book easy to connect to because marriage , divorce , kids is such a reality and never easy. I have not been through the struggles Riley has with her marriage BUT drug addiction and abuse have been in my life by way of family members and exes so I have watched it rip through and destroy. I fell for River right from the start , OMG that little boy was special and I was so invested in his growth. Liam was probably my favorite character in the story. Riley was just as I assumed she would be, making dumb choices and although she wanted the right thing she had a hard time pushing through her own walls to get them. The one thing I would have loved , as weird as it may seem , would have been some POV by way of Aaron. You get the story from Riley but to lead up to the major event it would have been nice to have snippets from his mind to alert us to just how intense he was. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time regardless due to his threats and just wondering where and when we would meet up with him. This book had fear , devastation , hope , love , HOTNESS and a very sweet and happy ending. It was a quick read and I enjoyed Liam and River so much !! Riley was plagued with an impossible situation and luckily for her a knight in shining armor rode in by way of River's speech therapist and brought her back to life. Liam not only saved Riley and River but he saved himself by finally finding love again. He was amazing and to boot he plays guitar and sings !! I just cannot say enough about him. LIAM LIAM LIAM LIAMDefinitely worth the read and I am interested to see what else this author has to offer.

I thought for sure this was a book I was going to fall in love with. Unfortunately, it wasn't. Now before you sigh... This isn't a bad book. It actually is a good book, but it wasn't a book that I fell in love with like I had hoped.The story overall is a good one. I just couldn't focus on it. It moved slow for me. Although the writing is good, it just seemed to be missing something for me.I was hoping to need some emotional therapy after reading this. However, being the tough cookie I am, I didn't. I am very saddened over this. This story has emotional wreck written all over it. I just didn't receive it like I hoped. However, many others seem to have. It just may be me.Overall, this is a well written book that I think many will like if not love. Don't necessarily count this book out just because it didn't do it for me. Not every book is for everyone!

I wouldn't call that pronographic.The scene enabled me to understand how over time verbal abuse can escalate to physical abuse even within the confines of marriage.This book isn't meant to give advice, it's meant to give hope and it does just that!I recommend this book to people in all walks of life.

Dunn Even though I personally know the author and his family, I would have loved this book if I had not known them. This is a story of farm life in the South during the depression and wars. Though the father of six girls never had much money, he was one of the richest men in Tennessee. He had the richness of the love of his family. This book is for anyone that appreciates hard work and righteous living. Be prepared to deal with your own life's worth as you finish this book.

He has written a chronology of events in the lives of one rural Tennessee family over the decades as though he had been present with a recorder and a camera. There is such richness of detail that it took my breath away. I didn't doubt the authenticity of one conversation or one small incident that took place over the years.What makes this book so amazing is not that it's about an extraordinary family, but that the author has shown us what is so extraordinary in one average family's decency, commitment, hard work, and unconditional love.I highly recommend this book to anyone who can appreciate how family bonds can help us not only overcome trials, but bring us the highest joy.Cheryl Peyton

I know the ending is not what we wanted but God is Faithful. This is such an encouragement to see how he and the family choose Faith and God answered them by working in there life in miraculous ways. It is so wonderful to see God working in peoples lives in this way. It gives HOPE that GOD does LOVE us and wants to work in our lives. She's Miss June on the school calendar, homecoming queen, and big glamor girl Barbie. However when her long time boyfriend Warner breaks up with her because he needs a girlfriend that is more "serious" and can help him become president Elle decides she is going to prove herself very serious and follows Warner to law school. However from the first day Elle can tell Law School isn't really the place for a blonde. Plus she finds out that this totally unstylish, super serious looking Sarah is now engaged to Warner. However when things finally settle down Elle begins to find that law school isn't so bad. When she takes on the job as summer intern for Christoper Miles she finds that she is beginning to forget Warner. Now her new focus in life is this case about 23 year old Brooke Vandemark who is accused of murdering her 73 year old husband Heyworth Vandemark. It seems the only witness of the crime is Heyworth's 24 year old daughter Chutney. In the end Elle comes through with a trick any Cosmo girl would know to solve the case!I absoulety love this book!! Even though I aint blonde it was still very funny for me! I have seen the movie too and I just have to say I love them both.

A Must-Read By Erika Sorocco Elle Woods is devastated when her boyfriend Warner Huntington III breaks up with her, instead of proposing (like she had thought). Now Elle is on a mission to become a wholesome girl like Warner wants. Which is why she's on her way to Stanford Law School. It's now up to her to break Warner and his new fiance up, and claim the man she came for. But while at Law School she realizes she likes it very much, and even starts the BLDF (Blonde Legal Defense Fund).I recommend this book to all fans of the movie "Legally Blonde". While the book isn't exactly the same as the movie, it does resemble it, and is just as hilarious.

The author states that the book is based on her experiences at Stanford law, but as a recent law school grad, I find the book unbelievable at some points. For example, Elle takes all of her classes pass/fail. As far as I know, the American Bar Association doesn't allow first year classes to be taken pass/fail. And as helpful as outlines are, they are no substitute for class attendance (which is required in law school, or you fail automatically) and studying!The movie portrays Elle as a smart girl who works hard to get what she wants, the book portrays her as more of a spoiled brat who gets lucky.... I much prefer the former! Movie Elle wants to help everyone, book Elle only wants to help herself and other blondes.If you have seen the movie, you don't need to read the book, the movie is better.
