Her plots draw you in immediately, her character development is excellent, her story lines deal with true life situations, and it is all done from a clean Christian viewpoint. Though Waves of Summer is a slight departure from her usual fare, being purely a romance novel, it was so good. It is the perfect summer read--or for the cold winter months when you are longing for summer! I originally read the novella as one segment of a four part book in which the characters were intertwined, but each had a different summer experience to share. Though it worked well in that format, it is just as good as a stand alone. Though Waves of Summer is a fun, light read, it has the substance to make it highly entertaining, and at times, thought provoking. I would certainly recommend it!

She has written some very good books dealing with real issues people face on a daily basis. This book is a bit different than what I've read from her, but I found that I loved it just as much. I initially read this novella in an anthology with two other authors. This book it witty, fun and romantic. I found myself laughing out loud at times while reading it. This book was initially a book to be read in the summer months at the beach. But, hey, why not enjoy the scenery and pretend your toes are in the sand during the winter?! Enjoy!!
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. FIVE STAR ROMANTIC NOVELLA By Trosado I first read this story in the interconnected mult-author novella collection, Just One Summer. Although i enjoyed the four novellas together in one volume, Tammy L. Gray's story stands on its own and delivers a complete and well-developed romance. It was one of my favorites of the four and, like her full length novels, we experience a sweet, clean, and tender romance; just on a smaller scale.
