About the Author Before she began writing novels, Sarah Gerdes established herself as an internationally recognized expert in the areas of business management and consulting. Her interest in writing fiction occurred after her first book for McGraw-Hill, Navigating the Partnership Maze, was published in fourteen countries. She tapped into her martial arts background and love of history and intrigue to write Chambers, a time-travel adventure series published in the US, Poland, Indonesia and Thailand. I am usually a YA reader because I don't like the graphic language and explicit content that I find in most adult fiction books, so I was delighted to find an adult book that I consider clean--which seem almost impossible to find. I felt like the characters and issues they were dealing with were believable and relatable, and the author set up the romance and plot line so it kept moving and I wasn't bored. I actually couldn't put it down. Definitely doesn't disappoint if you like romance but want a clean book that actually has a plot.

Kaitlyn, the main character, is an intelligent, authentic woman and I found myself rooting for her throughout the story. It’s refreshing that although this is a romance novel, the legal drama that Kaitlyn is going through is just as interesting as her love life. I’d definitely recommend this novel to anyone looking for a well-written, enjoyable romance story with complex characters and an alluring plot.

So i am not a person who reads this type of book ( i suppose it would be labeled romance or womens fiction idk ) but i totally jumped in to this head first. Sarah Gerdes has the ability to create some of the most dynamic characters and the absolute most descriptive dialogue between characters that had me continuously turning the pages and coming back for more. i hated finishing this book because i kept wanting more! Well written and well worth buying and reading!
