Goosefeather was one of my favorite characters from Bluestar's story and I wanted to know more about him. The novella size was fine, but kept wanting for more after the story was done. Goosefeather is an amazing character all the more so for what happens to him. He's right up there with Yellowfang and Pebble Heart for my favorite medicine cats.The only issue I have with this story was it didn't feel long enough. I would have loved to keep reading to the very start of Bluestar's story. But the size was still not too bad and it did give us a lot of information on him. The interactions between him and his clan and all of it was amazing. It's no wonder he would appear to be talking to himself during Bluestar's Prophecy.

It's worth the time and money I spent on it and enjoyed it, giving it full stars By Ally Misery First things first, this story is a short story, a novella size, an insight on a strange medicine cat named Goosefeather and not a full length novel. It's worth the time and money I spent on it and enjoyed it, giving it full stars. I feel Goosefeather's Curse is up there with Hollyleaf's Story for me and I loved Hollyleaf's arc at the end of OOTS. I was pleasantly surprised by the story line for Goosefeather and felt the Erin's did a good job on this. I wondered about this strange medicine cat who could predict by signs from clouds and weird phenomena in the old forest rather then dreaming with Star Clan and why he seemed more in-tune with predictions then all the other medicine cats. Reading his story, I know why he was a bit off, for which the reason was a plausible one that I accept. All this explains why he was the way he was in Bluestar's Prophecy.I feel sorry for Goosefeather and now he has a special place in my heart along with Firestar, Jayfeather, Squirrelflight and Crowfeather. Goosefeather had a very hard and lonely life from kit to elder. Now for him being part of StarClan, I hope it made up for what he was essentially cursed with.*** On another note, a bit off topic, if the Erin's read their reviews: I like this novellas between the full series and super editions. They connect everything and give the reader a little more explanation of what cats are experiencing and feeling, often being a picture we haven't been shown, such as Hollyleaf's Story life spent in the tunnels and here with Goosefeather's Curse are backstory that is intriguing. I really, really would LOVE to read a novella about Crowfeather with his thoughts when he took Nightcloud as his mate then how he really felt about Breezepelt, Jayfeather, Lionblaze and Hollyleaf.

That credit goes to the recently departed Ray Tomlinson and his associates, who were sending emails almost a decade prior to Ayyadurai's EMAIL system came into being. While what Ayyadurai did was impressive, developing an electronic office mail system at the age of 14, it is not to be confused with what we nowadays call "email". In fact, modern email owes none of its pedigree to Ayyadurai's EMAIL software.As one of the 7 secrets found in this book is "run a persistent misinformation campaign to discredit the true inventors of email", you should probably not get this book, as that would only be funding the author's campaign to usurp the creation of something that existed a whole 8 years before he came up with it.

I love her stories, alpha characters, steamy sex scenes, and crazy twists in the plot. This book is very different from anything I've read in quite a long time. I was so invested in this book because of my love of this author & the uniqueness that is this book. Then everything hit turbo speed & it ended. I'm upset. I wanted more. I needed more. What happened to Mr Drake? What about Heath & Kayla? How were the twins conceived if he pulled out both times (I mean does he have super sperm)? I loved it. I really did love it, but I needed more.

I read the story **Let Him Reign: An Underworld Romance** once I got the Wicked After Dark Anthology and I was addicted, it was so hard to stop reading so I didn't. I was so engrossed in the book that I finished it in a couple of hours. The story and the characters were so addicting you will LOVE it!!! I highly recommend this book and did I tell you that the sex is HAWT!

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. What an amazing and heartwarming story By RO G'ma This is the first book I’ve read written by Terri DuLong but certainly won’t be the last. I usually read cozy mysteries and not a lot of women’s fiction but am very glad I read this wonderful book. The book is beautifully written, the storyline well plotted, and the characters well developed and relatable. I loved the characters and the setting. This is a great read if you like light reading, a bit of romance, with a hint of paranormal. This is a story of forgiveness, friendship, and love. Date rape and pre-marital relations are addressed with sensitivity. There is nothing explicit and there is no foul language.Chloe Radcliffe is trying to get over the recent deaths of her Aunt Maude and Gabe, her significant other, who died suddenly. Looking for a change, Chloe decides to visit Ormond Beach, Florida. Before his death, Gabe and Chloe were going to move there. Henry Wagner rents his condo to Chloe and Mavis Anne Overby convinces Chloe to open a yarn shop in a cute building behind Koi House, her Victorian Home. The building will house the new yarn shop and the other half with be Yarrow’s tea and coffee shop.I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review from NetGalley.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Just loved it! Enjoyable to read! By Kris Anderson - The Avid Reader Patterns of Change by Terri Dulong is the first book in the Ormond Beach series. Chloe Radcliffe is trying to get over the recent deaths of her Aunt Maude and her significant other, Gabe (who died suddenly). She has just been drifting along and believes it might be time for a change. Chloe decides to visit Ormond Beach, Florida. Chloe and Gabe were going to move there before he passed away. Chloe rents a condo from Henry Wagner. She meets Yarrow and Mavis Anne Overby. Yarrow owns the Yarrow’s Tea Shop and Mavis Anne owns the beautiful Victorian home that Chloe has been dreaming about (before she ever saw it). Mavis Anne convinces Chloe to open a yarn shop in a cute building behind the Victorian Home (named Koi House). Half the building will be the new yarn shop and the other half with be Yarrow’s tea shop. This is a new start for Chloe. Then she is reminded of an incident from college. In order for Chloe to move forward with her life (especially her love life) she will need to learn forgiveness. Can Chloe forgive and embrace her new life in Ormond Beach?You will have to read Patterns of Change to find out. I enjoyed Patterns of Change. It is nice to see Chloe and all our old friends from the Cedar Key series. I like that she is moving on (and we will get more stories). Patterns of Change is easy and enjoyable to read. The setting of Ormond Beach is just lovely (the author wrote some gorgeous descriptions of the city and beach area). The Victorian home described in the book is my dream home and I can understand why Chloe wants to live in it. I like the message of forgiveness in the book. It is so hard to forgive someone especially when they committed a horrible act against a person. The other message in the book is friendship. Chloe arrives in town not knowing a soul and ends up with some great new friends. They are united through their love of yarn and creating objects with fiber (there is also a great shawl pattern enclosed in the book). It does help to have read the Cedar Key series (so you know the history of Chloe), but it is not necessary (since it is a new city and new characters). I give Patterns of Change 4.5 out of 5 stars (there are a couple of slow areas). I liked reading Patterns of Change and will look forward to reading the next book in the Ormond Beach series.I received a complimentary copy of Patterns of Change from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Patterns of Change By Jbarr5 Patterns of Change by Terri DuLongHave read the author's other works and know I will like this one from the start.Although it's a new series it left off where the other ended but with enough background you won't be lost with the characters.The relocation for Chloe to Ormond Beach is exciting after all the events she's suffered through over the past several months.Things I really like about this book are the travel-I feel like I'm in the backseat during the adventures to new places; the knitting and camaraderie among those who do knit;the different generations and their problems; the mysteries surrounding the house and fish pond; lesson of forgiveness: past comes to the foreground with a bit of romance rounds out this book to be the top selection this month.Love catching up with all from the previous series and meeting new friends.Can't wait to read the next in this new series. Can't wait to start the pattern at the end of the book. Nice fall project.I received this book from The Kennsington Books in exchange for my honest review
