It shipped with 4 other books in a cardboard box, I am assuming it was wrinkled before it was shipped. I'm attaching a picture, although I don't know how well the wrinkles will show up.

The Surplus American By Em In their book You're Fired, authors Yale Magrass and Charles Derber present an accessible and articulate explanation of the evolution of inequalities worldwide. These inequalities, they argue, have the potential of leading to the creation of a large class of "surplus people," who have been made obsolete by the American system. As more and more people face the reality of leaving their offices with a pink slip in hand, the relevancy of this discussion, which unpacks the ways the American institutional system normalizes the process of creating surplus people, becomes increasingly apparent. Case studies from periods of world history in the past 300 years helps frame the argument, and provide proof of a consistent pattern of surplus-making.The authors use a unique and innovative strategy to communicate their message: the book is divided into an essay portion and a play portion. While the essay offers a more intellectual recount, the play presents a witty and satirical analysis that is appropriate for many audiences and ages. The play has the potential to be an influential resource in the current social movements as a source of important knowledge and insight into the past, present, and future of surplus people.

Through uses of multiple narrative forms, Derber and Magrass provide an in-depth cultural and economic analysis tracing the path of surplus people throughout history. With a hint of comedy and the occasional appearance of intellectual ghost, the beginning play provides an accessible way to engage readers with the subject matter. The remaining section of the book elaborates on aspects and themes within the play, allowing for a more thorough understanding. As engaging as the narrative style seems, don't assume you're in for a light read. Many books today have plenty of sizzle, but not much steak. I recommend that you sink your teeth into this big, juicy T-bone of a book, a rare treat for intellectual readers searching for economic understanding and substantive history of surplus people. The Surplus America is a must read to understand how Western capitalism became what it is today and what path it is on for tomorrow.

By deal.icious When I found out about this book, I knew this was a perfect book for me now as I have been thinking to study online for some time now. The timing couldn't be more perfect. I have been putting it off but now I have learnt what Atalia taught in the book, I am much more confident in taking my next steps. I was blown away by how the exercises in the book really opened my eyes and made me change perspectives about studying online, and even about life in general! I haven't read much about online learning in general but I'm glad I've read this one first, saves me a lot of time! This book covers it all. It is detailed with tips and strategies how you can manage studying, having a life running own business, while being married with a full time professional, having 2 lovely children who all need time from their wife/mother. While it's really easy to read and follow the book, I wouldn't advise to read this in one sitting. I'm sure I'm going to read it at least twice to really absorb everything, especially the questions asked in the chapters. This book is going to be changing many people's life in terms of which directions they need to take their lives to. Filled with quality content! That is what the book is about, teaching people to have a better quality of life, to be able to serve others better. I just love that concept! Atalia is sincere, I can feel it as I go through the chapters. I can't wait to share this with my friends! Anyway, off I go to my higher level in life.

Relationship Wisdom for Men By Wanda_Reads From the Hands of Delilah to the Arms of Samson is akin to having a Titus 2:2 session with your older brother, who wants to help you learn from his mistakes.Whether male or female, none of us go through life unscathed from relationships. Although the book is specifically tailored to men, any reader will be enlightened and encouraged to examine how those past hurts or disappointments can be impacting the way you relate to others presently. Within the pages of this seven part book, Mr. Stegall uses his personal experiences, movie/tv/sport themed analogies, and Biblical principles to guide men into establishing and maintaining thriving relationships.I like that each part of the book closes with a power point to ponder (the key take away from that section), question to consider, and a jewel tip along with a section for writing personal notes.At times I found the book a little too heavily sprinkled with movie or TV show scenarios but overall, I enjoyed getting a closer view of how a man thinks and I think it's a great book for young men.Disclosure: I was provided a complementary e-copy from the publisher in exchange for an unbiased review.Views/opinion expressed are my own.

By Dee_AbundantLifeCoach When I first purchased this book, I didn't know what to expect based on the title and description; however, as I began to read it, I soon learned that the book was going to be an extreme blessing to me personally and also for anyone else (male or female) that has emotional baggage that they needed to heal from. The book content was so real that a few times I had to look around and ask "now who in the world told him my story!". This book has so many empowering nuggets regarding relationships that I pratically highlighted every page and/or placed a post it note on them to refer to again in the future.Mo Stegall gets to the heart of the matter and reveals the reasons why relationships fail and how we hurt ourselves by not taking the time to heal before proceeding forward. He also provides clear, concise, and smack you to life wisdom about the importance of men understanding women and vice versa in order to be have successful, fruitful, and pleasurable relationships. There has to be a change in how we relate to one another as well as understand the dynamics of who we are individually and this book is a great tool to assist in that effort! She gives practical advice for planning science for your high schooler. What helped me most was being reminded that I just need to facilitate science and not be the "know all." We purchased curriculum and prioritize it in our home school week. We have followed her advice and have been the better for it. Thank you!

If you are freaked out about teaching high school science, especially providing LABS, Lee Binz will calm you down and give you the options and information you need to know to proceed.

By daw Awesome book that all parents and teens should read. Teaches basic common sense responses that we all should know intuitively but that have somehow gotten lost. Also an excellent book to share widely! Easy to read and short enough to keep your attention but deep enough to touch on sensitive topics and issues of the current times.
