Food storage meals never tasted better in my kitchen! The recipes are simple to make and use only shelf-stable ingredients . . . no butter, no eggs, just food storage. And every recipe can be cooked over the stove OR campfire - no oven required! It really shows that Ashley did her research because her website from her book has a picture for every recipe, which means she made and tested every single one! She also has wonderful tips for preparing in other ways, from 72-hour kits to first aid and natural remedies to long term camping. This book has it all! And the best part is that Ashley's personality shines through with her stories, tips, background info, and her southern charm. I am lovin' this book!!!

And make yummy food too! There are so many good tips and tricks in this book from recipes to herbal remedies to basic needs for your emergency preparedness stock! If you are looking for a book to help you not only survive in times of need but to survive WELL and HAPPY, this is the book you need.

By Christine Gibson Not only does this book provide delicious recipes and tips on preparing them outdoors, the author includes herbal remedies, spice mixes, cleaning solutions, and other practical tips that will help everyday at home or in a prepping situation. This book is well done with easy to follow recipes.
