I wish I lived next door to these characters, so likable yet realistically drawn and flawed like all of us. I liked the weaving technique with the plot. Getting a glimse of what was coming kept me wondering what was going to happen.I will preorder again. Read it, you will like it!

Picture perfect detail of places and persons and things. Emotion sets the pace.Having now read all of Roisin's books I've found that believable characterisation, the mark of good fiction, is also her forte, along with satisfying endings.Thoroughly enjoyed

If you enjoy getting so involved in characters that you feel you know them, and you prefer a character-driven story - and if you miss being able to look forward to new books from Maeve Binchey - this is the author for you in her strongest work yet - I know I'll be re-reading this one, while eagerly waiting Roisin's next book!
