About the Author Author Taylor Darnell, majored in Economics, but has found joy in writing and illustrating children's books. Taylor is also a philanthropist, in October 2013 she started Rick Anthony Athletic Foundation an organization that supports youth athletes with learning disabilities. Taylor started writing for her younger siblings to help them understand death and grieving after their brother Rick was killed by a drunk driver in the summer of 2013.
