I've read all of the books in this series, and I just didn't think that I could love a book more than Arrogant Bastard, but holy hell, I love this book! I started this book at 8 p.m. on a Saturday night, and I finished it before morning. I could not put it down! It wasn't for any one particular reason, it was everything about this book. This book centers on Beckham and Odessa. Beckham is the brother of Dane (from book 2) and Odessa is the heroine. Beckham is a handsome, rich and completely unattached and unattainable. He is all about the no strings attached one night stands. It's always a one and done with him. Little does he know, he has met his match. Enter Odessa! Odessa is the recently un-engaged, red-headed professional diva that happens to run into Beckham during a night out. Odessa spends a night of no strings attached sex with Beckham, and is all about the one and done. The morning after, Beckham is getting ready to let her down gently, when she surprises him by letting him down easy. Imagine his shock when she plays him! The next day she starts a new job as a contracted PR consultant, and guess what? It's for Beckham! Let the games begin!! I have to say, this book took my by surprise. I usually find it hard to like snarky, mouthy heroines, but I just adored Odessa. I guess it was because she really is good person inside, she's just trying to protect her feelings and guard her emotions around Beckham. During her private moments, or when she is around people who really know her, she is genuinely sweet and thoughtful. She's a good person who truly wants to help, and will put the needs of others before her own. And Beckham. What can I say about him? For me, he was very easy to love. Even though he often came across as harsh, you had an understanding of why. He has a hard time trusting anyone, and he honestly has no idea how to love. He was so damaged from his past, that you couldn't help but be sympathetic. You can feel his broken "self" and vulnerability through the words from the book, and I think that is a lot of the reason I loved this book so much. The way it was written, you had no choice but to feel every "feeling" and go through every trial with the characters. If you don't read any other book from Winter, you need to read this one. It was beautifully written!

She has a way of making you fall in love with even the biggest of playboys, arrogant and all. All I have to say is read this book and you will see why! This fabulous story had me straight from word one and kept me on edge until the very last word written.Beckham King is just that- the King of Playboys. He loves women. But one sizzling night with Odessa Russo and suddenly the playboy of New York gets played himself. But secretly Odessa is not the ultra-confident play girl she appears to be, even when she gives as good as she gets. But what does one playful night matter when she's never going to see Beckham again? When Odessa takes a new job with Townsend Energy Holdings, the last thing she expects to see is Beckham himself.While the two struggle with sexual tension, stubborn personalities, and hidden susceptibilities, a bigger scandal is in play that could completely damage the trust and unspoken love they've built.But even through bullheadedness from both of them, their chemistry is undeniable, their unrelenting love truly profound. With a fantastic crossover with Dane and Bellamy, Arrogant Playboy is the next stellar story from Winter Renshaw that can't be passed up.
5 of 6 people found the following review helpful. Series just keeps getting better By Caligirl_37 I recieved a copy of this book as an ARC in return for an honest review. I have previously read Winter's other Arrogant series and have found this one to be my favorite. Odessa (Sam) was in a relationship with her college sweetheart who wants to take a break and Beckham is Danes brother. They meet and end up having a one night stand only to realize a day later that they will be working together. Odessa is a very strong character and I loved instantly. She cuts right to the chase and doesn't put up with Beckheams arrogant ways. She's in his face and gives him some of his own medicine. We get to see Dane and Bellamy again which ties up the timeline very well. Beckham has had a hard start in life and at one point thought he had found the one, only to be crushed and has turned away from being open to love. There is a turing point that opens them both up to each other and that possiblity that the right person can heal and cherish. Of course there is angst which works well with this story line and doesn't get overly complicated nor does it drag on. Overall I would recommend this book and hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
