Colwyn This is quite a good book for parenting tips and techniques if you are new to this kind of experience. It can be a very overwhelming experience for a first time mother/father and can take a huge amount of time to adjust. Books like this can greatly help first timers to get ideas and tips on how to raise their children. But this is also for parents who are already on their way to raising a school age children and teenagers. Specially teenagers which can be really difficult to deal with sometimes as this are the times where rebellions, seek for independence and individuality are wanted by their children. This is where the book comes in. This book includes tried and tested methods to parent your children in a productive and positive way. With the help of this book, you will learn how to develop your children's self-confidence, teach them to think for themselves and become an adult you will be proud to call your children. You will learn to bring out the best in your children whether you have young children, teenagers, or even grandchildren. I'd definitely recommend this to some of my friends who became parents themselves.

From positive parenting discussion to teenagers samples and situations was really a big help. I may not be a parent today but what I learned now will definitely leave a mark to me. I could share these learning to my friends who are already parents.What really strikes me is the communication part. When I was a kid, even though I was a trouble and I feel so embarrassed, my Mom never never made me feel that I can not reach her and I am able to approach her. This leads to a more honest relationship between a parent and a child. Communication is really a key when raising a child.Another point is, the independence part, Ms. Deedley also tackles the importance of giving independence to their child at a young age. Even how unimportant it is, still it is independence in their understanding. The child will feel be more valued and have a sense of achievement. This kind of parenting will make the child an independent adult with sense of responsibility.This book is very likely to recommend for first time parent.
